What does the labelling cover?
The labelling covers three issues:
- The first issue is emission.
All products are measured for their emissions to the
indoor air. These measurements result in a time-value,
which states the time it takes from delivery of a pro-
duct till the emission of all individual substances is at
an acceptable concentration in the indoor air.
Once the time-value has been attained the products
must not emit odour or cause irritation to mucous
membranes.
- Secondly the labelling covers the release of particles
and fibres regarding ceiling products.
- Lastly the labelling encompasses a set of guidelines
for projecting, transport and storage, assembly, cle-
aning and maintenance of the products in order to
avoid that the products deteriorate
