Indoor climate - FAQs:

When your furniture is indoor climate certified - does this mean that furniture
    from other suppliers is toxic?

No, not necessarily. Our furniture is tested to ensure that it does not emit toxic
    substances.

    What does emission mean?
Emission means the giving off of substances to the environment.

How do you test that furniture qualifies for the indoor climate label?
The entire piece of furniture - or sometimes only part of it – is placed inside a
climate chamber. During the test period, the product is tested to see whether
it emits hazardous substances and odours.

Is it a legal requirement to use the indoor climate label?
No, but we have chosen to label our furniture as it is the consumer’s guarantee

that our furniture is “safe to use in the home”

Why is it so important that my furniture is indoor climate certified?
Certification ensures that the air in your home is not polluted by hazardous
    “gasses” emitted by the furniture.
