We have reduced our formaldehyde emissions by half, in accordance with the Californian
CARB-standard, which is the most stringent production standard in the world in this area.
We started in 1998 to test how we could reduce the content of the notorious substance
formaldehyde in the production of chipboard. Our effort has resulted in the fact that our
furniture contains less than half the quantity permitted by European law today.
