FSC

The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international, not for profit labelling
scheme for sustainable wood and paper. Put simply, you can purchase
FSC-labelled wood products with a clear conscience, because in FSC forests, no
more trees are felled than the forest can reproduce on its own.

The FSC label also guarantees that animals and plants are protected and that
people working in the forests receive training, safety equipment and decent
wages.
